‘Wednesday’ Selected for Kino Short Film Festival

Official Selection

On Saturday morning, I received the most welcome news that ‘Wednesday,’ the short film I made with my friend Daniel Klamerus in early 2020 has been programmed to play the Kino Short Film Festival on Friday May 15th at 6:30pm MDT.

Entering its 20th year, the Kino Short Film Festival is put on each year by the University of Idaho, and typically operates out of the Kenworthy Performing Arts Center in Moscow, ID, though this year, all film screenings and Q&A’s will take place via live stream. One of the things that initially drew me to submit ‘Wednesday’ to the festival was that it is open only to independent and student filmmakers local to the Pacific Northwest. When we moved to Boise in 2018, I dreamed about playing a small part in helping to grow the filmmaking community in Boise, and I see this screening as a step in that direction.

Both Danny and I are looking forward to connecting with more PNW filmmakers, as well as participating in a Q&A following the screening of ‘Wednesday’ on Friday night.

See you then!
